menu on board, nice deco but not a nice menu as I was sit at the corner, hard for me to see
菜单在黑板,也是设计,巧思。但对我来说这样的菜单不容易看,因那天我坐在角落。

It is better to serve warm. Next time, definitely ask for reheat.

pan-fried brown mushroom, scrambled eggs, hash brown, slide of wholemeal toast with butter spread, and pork sausage or chicken sausage or beef sausage or bacon.

炒褐蘑菇,炒蛋,马铃薯饼,全麦土司,猪肉/牛肉/鸡肉香肠 或培跟


They roast their own coffee, that's worth a try. I think the coffee here is not bad, acceptable.

这里的咖啡不错,可尝尝他们自家烘焙的咖啡。

咖啡有点淡。

奶的部分多了,盖了巧克力味道。

It is not quite right if there's no browning reaction on pizza. Does the person who prepare notice that onion and bell pepper definitely are not cooked, and the pizza is not hot when served.
皮萨看来白白的,少了些色调。洋葱和灯笼椒还没熟,准备的人知道吗?来时,也不热

Corn & White Fungus Soup | 白木耳苞粟湯


Ingredients

3 sweet corn, half white fungus (soaked), 1 chicken breast meat, half bowl of dry Angular Solomon's-seal (yu zhu),  salt, 3L water

boil the water in pot, then add in all ingredients
bring it to boil again, cook for 1 hour
then turn to medium-low heat for another 3 hours
add salt as desire before serve




3 玉蜀黍,半白木耳,1 雞胸肉,1/2 碗玉竹, 鹽,3L 水

把水煮滾,放進所有材料
大火煮一小時,然后中小火 3 小時
煮后,再加些許鹽


P.S. White fungus which undergo 30 minutes of heat treatment, collagen will release
白木耳經過三十小時的烹煮,就會釋放膠原蛋白

Chickpea Lentil Soup | 鹰嘴豆+ 扁豆湯


Ingredient

half bowl chickpea, half bowl lentil, 1 chicken breast meat, 1 onion, 2 clove garlic

Soak chickpea and lentil for half day (or soak it night before)
Cut chicken breast meat into small pieces
Roughly chop the onion and garlic
Pot fill with 3 L of water
When the water boil, add all ingredients in
Bring it to boil again, for one hour , then turn to medium heat and cook for another  hours



半碗鹰嘴豆,半碗扁豆,1 块鸡胸肉,1颗洋葱,2瓣蒜头

先把鹰嘴豆扁豆泡半天 (前一晚准备也行)
把鸡胸肉切小块
洋葱,蒜头切小
煮3L 水,水滚后,放进所有材料
再滚1小时,然后中火煮3小时

Tofu with Mushroom Sauce | 香菇豆腐


ingredient
5 Chinese mushroom (slides), 4 tofu square, minced lean meat, chili flake, 2 clove garlic, 2 bowl of water (add in 1 tsp of dark soya sauce, 2 tbls of light soya sauce)

5 香菇(切片),4 方豆腐,瘦肉碎,辣椒碎,2 辦蒜頭, 2 碗水(加1茶匙黑醬油,2湯匙醬清)


Mince the garlic and saute for 5 min, then add in minced meat and mushroom, chili flake too. 
Cover and stew for half and hour or until mushroom become tender on medium heat.
Meanwhile, steam the tofu for 10 min, pour the water out after steam
When the mushroom is tender, add salt and pepper for seasoning.
Last, add some starch (about 1 teaspoon) to thicken the gravy.
pour the mushroom and the gravy on tofu, ready to serve


蒜頭切碎,下鍋爆香,加入瘦肉碎,香菇片, 辣椒碎。
蓋上,燜煮半小時,香菇片燜軟了就可以。
同時,將豆腐蒸十分鐘,蒸后把水倒掉,備用
香菇燜煮好了,加鹽和胡椒粉調味
然后勾個芡, 就行
把香菇和醬汁倒在豆腐上,就完成了

看着时间 看到了遗憾
原来从未享受过校园的生活
人生的一大遗憾

现在又该享受什么

sweet pumpkin|金瓜莲子白木耳

This is a great dessert for everyone, even who is on diet. Pumpkin full of beta-carotene (antioxidant), aid in body detoxification and help in prevent cancer too. White fungus is source of collagen. It can take as main course (serve with some salad) too because it provide the satiety and sufficient of nutrients.

老少都适合的甜品,即使在减肥的。金瓜富有胡萝卜素(抗氧化剂),有助于排毒,预防癌症。白木耳是胶原蛋白的来源。来些青菜,这就个当正餐,因能提供饱足感,营养也很高。


ingredients | 料
1/4 pumpkin (skin and seed off), 1/2 cup lotus seed, 1/2 bowl white fungus

1/4金瓜(去籽和皮),1/2杯莲子,1/2碗白木耳


procedure | 步
1. cook the pumpkin by steaming it, then set aside allowed to cool
把金瓜蒸熟,待冷

2. add about 1500ml water into the pot, then cook the lotus seed. When lotus seeds are cooked, add in white fungus and boil for another 40 minutes
1500ml的水,煮莲子,熟后,加白木耳再煮40分钟

3. blend the pumpkin by using food processor to make puree
把金瓜用搅拌机打成酱

4. add the puree into the pot and mix thoroughly. If you find it is too thick, add some water and bring to boil.
然后倒入莲子汤里,如大稠,可加水再煮

5. Sugar in not necessary because pumpkin is a sweet squash at least you like it to be very sweet.
除非你很爱甜食,不然糖是不需要的,因为金瓜本身就甜。


note: white fungus can cook with lotus seeds at the same time. I add in white fungus after lotus cooked because i love the crunchiness of the white fungus
白木耳可与莲子同时煮,本人不爱白木耳软绵绵,所以就分前后下煮

Potato & Carrot Patty | 罗卜薯饼


i prepare myself a high quality (full of nutrients) breakfast today, carbo, vitamin, protein, fat, minerals all in one patty 
来个营养早餐,碳水化合物,维生素,蛋白,脂肪,膳食礦物質,全在一个罗卜薯饼里


ingredient | 料

2 potato,  half carrot, half onion, 2 mushroom, parsley, pepper, chili powder, quarter chicken breast meat, 1 egg

2马铃薯,1/2萝卜,1/2洋葱,2香菇,芫茜,胡椒粉,辣椒粉,1/4鸡胸肉,1颗鸡蛋


procedure | 步

1. cut potato and carrot into thin strip, slide the onion, chop parsley and mince the chicken breast meat
罗卜,马铃薯,洋葱切丝, 芫茜切碎,鸡胸肉也是

2. mix all ingredients together then add chili powder (1 teaspoon), pepper and salt as desired. add in one egg too, mix well
将所有材料倒在一起,加入辣椒粉(一茶匙),适量的胡椒粉,盐,然后加蛋,拌匀

3. heat the non stick pan, add some olive oil
平底锅加热,放进橄榄油

4. spoon 2 tablespoon into the oil heat pan for one patty, 1 tablespoon if prefer smaller size
放两汤匙的料在平底锅,如喜爱小块的,就放一汤匙

5. lightly press it to flatten, when the bottom is cooked and golden brown, flip and cook another side.
然后,轻轻压,压平。煎到熟透,呈金黄色,就可以翻过来,煎另一面

6. cook until the both side is golden brown
两面都呈金黄色,就行了

7. serve with chili or tomato sauce, yummy
吃时,占些辣椒酱或番茄酱

Chives & Onion Omelette Sandwich|葱蛋三文治


Breakfast of the day, chives & onion omelet sandwich, avocado and milk.
早安!葱蛋三文治,鳄梨,牛奶


ingredient | 料

one egg, half onion, chives, wheat germ bread, tomato

一颗鸡蛋,半个洋葱,細香蔥,麦胚芽面包,番茄


procedure | 步

1. cut onion in small pieces, chop the chives, slide the tomato.
洋葱,細香蔥切,不用切太细,番茄切片

2. Mix the egg with little bit of oilive oil and light soya sauce, mix troughtly and set aside
蛋加些橄榄油和酱清,打散,备用

3. saute the onion and chives, then take out from the pan and mix with the egg
把洋葱,細香蔥爆香,取出,放进蛋浆里

4. pour the egg and ingredient into the pan and cook.
然后,一同倒入平底锅,煎熟

5. place slide tomato on bread, then omelette, tomato again, then another slide of bread, done.
把番茄片摆放在面包上,然后蛋,

炸鱼薯条

Two fish fillet, chips and coleslaw, come with tartar sauce.  
两块炸鱼,薯条和凉拌菜,还有塔塔醬。炸得香脆,鱼的分量也不少。


Italian Chicken RM 23.90
意式鸡

Chicken drumstick (deboned), sandwiched with 2 slide of ham, while you cut, you see there's cheese leaking out. Thick herbs gravy, tasty and good aroma. You can find vegetables and wedges under the chicken.   

鸡腿肉,上下各一片火腿,一刀下,有芝士流出来。酱汁很浓味,很香。配菜还有一些蔬菜和马铃薯。


 
Mocha (hot) RM 8.90   莫卡(热)

cocoa is too much and mask up coffee taste, taste like Neslo.
可可味多了点,把咖啡盖过了,个人喝起来有点像雀巢咖啡加美路,Neslo 




Due to the big portion (for me), I will revisit to try others menu.

由于分量大(对我),只好下次再来,试其它的菜肴。

Apple Jam | 萍果酱

fill my Sunday with apples
苹果星期天

9 apples
九个苹果

keep cores and skin, cut the edible part into small chunks
芯与皮留着,果肉切小块

then place cores and skin inti the pot, pour in water just enough to cover cores and skin, cook to extract the pectin. After cooking, remove cores and skins, add in apple.

把芯与皮放进锅,加水,盖芯与皮就行了。煮一煮以萃取果胶。然后,把芯与皮拿上,加进果肉,再煮。

when apple become soft and tender, add in 150g sugar and cinnamon. Cook until all sugar melted and when it's thicken, add in juice of one medium lemon. After that add in 2 teaspoon starch (dissolve in cool water first)

当果肉软了,加进150g 糖和肉桂皮。当糖溶了,稠度有有了,加入一粒柠檬汁。然后,加两茶匙藕粉 (先溶于水)。

when starch gelatinized, then can pour in the sterilized bottle. remember hot filling to extend the shelf life.
煮到起芡了,就能倒入消毒过的瓶子。趁还热,就得装进瓶里,保存期会长些。


sterilize bottle and cap, like what you did to milk milk bottle. When the bottle is dry, put the empty bottle in hot water (avoid any water go into it, please lower the hot water level), then pour in the jam, leave a inch head space, tighten the cap, and turn upside. This is to sterilize the cap and vacuum. 
  
用烧水把瓶子和瓶盖消毒,像消毒奶瓶一样。然后等干。再把瓶子泡在热水里,瓶子里不能沾到水,所以请注意热水的水位。倒入苹果酱,盖紧,倒翻。这样就能把盖消毒,密封。
